8/28/2019: Before we kick off a huge Labor Day weekend of racing, we have an exciting night at Shellhammers (hopefully with rain holding off). Last week we saw a new winner at Shellhammers with Tyler Lindsay holding off Lou Ciccioni for his third win of the season. With some big events this weekend, we may see a few big names pop in tonight.
Our NewzVroom Notables for tonight will be Lou Ciccioni and Aidan Borden. “Liquid Lou” keeps getting closer and closer to a victory but still has not locking up that first win yet. We think he will contend but may not have enough for our predicted winner for tonight. Borden won earlier in the year and has had a season full of ups and downs. Getting back up front and challenging for victory lane could turn his season around at the right time this evening.
Predicted Winner: James Morris. Morris won three times this year at the track already. Last week was one of the few times we did not see Morris challenge for the win this season. With some bigger money races this weekend, Morris will want to course correct tonight to get ready for this weekend with a win tonight.
